We are proud to partner with Dale Farm Trust based in Heswall. This wonderful location provides a day service for adults with disabilities and support for adults with mental health. The therapeutic use of horticulture provides opportunities to learn life skills.
So what makes their produce so special? They plant the best quality seeds. These are collected from previous harvests and local sources. These are watered and left to grow under a blanket of organic matter and mulch to ensure their plants get the best nourishment underground. They operate a national environmental award winning recycling project whereby manure is brought to the farm and composted ready for use. When it is time to harvest, their teams work together to make sure the best organic fruit and vegetables make it to your plates.
Dale Farm supplies us with only seasonal organic fruit and vegetables. This ethos is one that sits with our own values and we are thrilled to be able to bring this offering to the residents of Heswall and beyond.
The produce can be purchased in our physical shop, a restored Barn on Pye Road, around the corner from the Post Office but our ‘Click and Collect’ service is proving ever more popular. Order by midnight Wednesday for Sat collection/delivery.
