event décor as well as her own floral art pieces. She has a special interest in wildflowers and
often colours her own papers using natural colourants including plant and vegetable matter.
Her work has been seen on ITV and exhibited at The Design Museum London and she has
been funded to develop her creative practice by Arts Council England. Ling runs popular
workshops for both adults and children across Merseyside, promoting a connection to nature
through art classes.
MORE ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The art of paper flower making is a wonderfully mindful activity. It’s a slow craft, requiring
some patience and attention to detail, and once you are hooked you will never look at a
flower the same way again. This beginners craft will be followed by a series of workshops
expanding on the many different techniques and looking at more complex flowers.
Formercourse participants say:
“Wonderful artist running workshops constructing paper flowers. Ling is an incredible artist and fantastic tutor,
generous with her expertise and time. Workshops are always small groups and provide lots of fun as well as beautiful
completed flowers.” (K.Rice 2022)
