What you make: A selection of felted eggs using wet felting, needle felting and a combination of both. Option to buy a kit to take home on the day containing egg blanks, wool roving, design template and a felting needle set.
Age: 14+ years
Suits: Easter decor enthusiasts, fibre art lovers, crafters and newbies
What to bring: An apron as we will be using soapy water plus a pair of old nylon tights or knee highs.
Workshop Summary: During this relaxed and beginner friendly ‘no sew’ workshop you will learn both wet felting and needle felting techniques to create a selection of eggs that can be strung and hung on twigs in a vase or from a piece of suspended driftwood or simply used as an Easter table decoration in a bowl or other table display. You could even hide these around the house for a fun Easter game! Whatever you decide, you can always mask we it an Raster tradition to create lies each year and add to your collection.
A relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with optional refreshments to choose from. Alternatively you can bring your own booze but do be aware we are felting using sharp needles! Finger protectors will be available to use though!
