DESCRIPTION:Event: Craft Club\nLocation: Upper craft area*\, Repair HQ\, The Barn\, 6 Pye Rd\, Heswall\, CH60 0DB\nDay/Time: Saturday’s 2025/ 10.30-12 \nDates: 12/04\, 10/05\, 14/06\, 12/07\, 09/08\, 13/09\, 11/10\, 08/11 and 13/12.\nCost: Initial taster session is just £15. If after attending\, you enjoyed it and want to attend more\, you just book 3 or 6 sessions and can pick the months you want/are able to attend. If you pay for 5 sessions up front (£75)\, you get the 6th session free.\nWhat’s involved? We believe craft is for everyone. It is proven to have health benefits as it is mindful and relaxing. We will show you a taster craft at each session. It could range from anything from Jesmonite\, felting\, decoupage\, mosaics\, soapmaking\, Candlemaking\, macrame and anything else we think you might like to try! If you have any craft items/materials/yarn etc you want to offload\, feel free to bring them. \nOption to buy barista drinks and handmade scones\, subject to availability. \n\n\nMinimum age: 18 years due to sharp utensils and use of glue guns. \n\nWho would this suit? This is the perfect way to try out new crafts to see if you like them before booking on to a workshop.   All the crafts will be suitable for beginners and all components needed will be provided. However\, we may ask you to bring along the odd household item if we are upcycling tins etc.\n\n* Unfortunately this is not wheelchair accessible. The upper craft area is accessed via approx 12 wooden steps.

Under 16’s to be accompanied by an adult\nSkills learnt: An intro to using a unique new material\nWhat you make: Terrazo chips which we incorporate into a  small pot and coaster as well as a letter for keyring and a pendant\, all which you can take home on the day.\nWhat is provided: All materials\, step by step instruction\nWhat to bring/wear: Apron if a naturally messy person. Long hair tied back. Avoid floaty sleeves.\n\nWorkshop Summary: Learn how to create eco-friendly\, lightweight\, colourful creations at this fun jesmonite craft class.We will begin with a warm welcome and introduce you to examples of the unique composite material of jesmonite. \nWe will initially start by making terrazzo chips which we will go on to use in our creations. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or a beginner\, you’re sure to end with a beautiful set of jesmonite creations.
