It’s made up of the words koke\, which means “moss”\, and dama\, which means “ball”.\n\n\n\n\nA kokedama is a living plant that’s suspended in a ball of soil and wrapped in moss. It’s a centuries-old art form that originated in Japan and is part of the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Kokedama can be hung or displayed on a plate and make a beautiful table centre piece or look stunning in a bathroom.\n\n\nDuring this fun beginner friendly workshop\, you will pick your plant\, shown how to create the ball with a soil mixture\, twine and moss\, and how to effectively wrap the ball with twine. We’ll discuss after care advice to prolong the life of your plant. \n\n\n\nYou’ll go home with a beautiful Kokedama ready to hang or display at home and treasure for years to come.
