If after attending\, you enjoyed it and want to attend more\, you just book 3 or 6 sessions and can pick the months you want/are able to attend. If you pay for 5 sessions up front (£75)\, you get the 6th session free.\nWhat’s involved? We believe craft is for everyone. It is proven to have health benefits as it is mindful and relaxing. We will show you a taster craft at each session. It could range from anything from Jesmonite\, felting\, decoupage\, mosaics\, soapmaking\, Candlemaking\, macrame and anything else we think you might like to try! You can choose to embellish at home with trimmings of your choice or leave as a simple and elegant shade. The fabric you should source should be woven\, not too stretchy or thick and ideally cotton or linen. Avoid velvet\, wool or easily fraying materials. Half a metre of fabric would be ample but the exact size is 820mm wide x 255 mm. If you want to keep life simple\, avoid fabric that has a directional pattern to it so a smaller repeat pattern for example.  \nBring reading glasses if needed for close work.  \nWorkshop Summary: During this relaxed and beginner friendly ‘no sew’ workshop you will learn to make a straight sided\, 30cm drum lampshade. You can choose whether your lampshade can be used for a hung ceiling pendant or a table lamp base. You will be guided through every step and need absolutely no prior experience or sewing skills.
