Enjoy the true sense of achievement that comes with producing your own unique and beautiful artwork. \nWHAT’S IN THE KIT? \nA carefully chosen assortment of Liberty of London\, new\, vintage and reclaimed fabrics. Plus embroidery threads\, a sewing needle\, full colour pattern\, detailed instruction booklet. \nKIT OPTIONS (subject to availability) \nA. Rose – Symbolising love and passion \nB. Hellebore – Also known as Winter Rose or Christmas Rose symbolising peace\, serenity and tranquility. \nC. Figs – Known as the ‘Fruit of Heaven’ and often linked to fertility. \nD. Cosmos – Generally symbolising balance & harmony and also ‘joy in love and life’. \nWhen ordering\, specify your kit preference or else we will contact you to find out once your order has been placed. \nCOST \nTo include both the kit to include pattern\, materials\, threads\, needle and colour instructions plus 6 hours group work spread over two sessions the cost is £75/pp. \nAn initial deposit of £40 will secure your place and kits prepped/ordered. The balance of £35 is payable two weeks before the first session and a payment link will be sent to each attendee. \nThis is relaxed and beginner friendly. Some work will be done at home as the name suggests this is a slow craft and not be rushed. The group sessions will give you a good grounding and you may well be on your way to a finished piece by the end of session 2!

We will show you a taster craft at each session. It could range from anything from Jesmonite\, felting\, decoupage\, mosaics\, soapmaking\, Candlemaking\, macrame and anything else we think you might like to try! If you have any craft items/materials/yarn etc you want to offload\, feel free to bring them. \nOption to buy barista drinks and handmade scones\, subject to availability. \n\n\nMinimum age: 18 years due to sharp utensils and use of glue guns. \n\nWho would this suit? It’s made up of the words koke\, which means “moss”\, and dama\, which means “ball”.\n\n\n\n\nA kokedama is a living plant that’s suspended in a ball of soil and wrapped in moss. It’s a centuries-old art form that originated in Japan and is part of the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Kokedama can be hung or displayed on a plate and make a beautiful table centre piece or look stunning in a bathroom.\n\n\nDuring this fun beginner friendly workshop\, you will be able to pick your preferred plant\, shown how to create the soil blend to create the ball\, how to use the moss and wrap the ball with wire/twine. We’ll discuss after care advice to prolong the life of your plant. \n\n\n\nYou’ll go home with a beautiful Kokedama ready to hang or display at home and treasure for years to come.
