It’s made up of the words koke\, which means “moss”\, and dama\, which means “ball”.\n\n\n\n\nA kokedama is a living plant that’s suspended in a ball of soil and wrapped in moss. It’s a centuries-old art form that originated in Japan and is part of the Wabi-Sabi philosophy. Kokedama can be hung or displayed on a plate and make a beautiful table centre piece or look stunning in a bathroom.\n\n\nDuring this fun beginner friendly workshop\, you will be able to pick your preferred plant\, shown how to create the soil blend to create the ball\, how to use the moss and wrap the ball with wire/twine. We’ll discuss after care advice to prolong the life of your plant. \n\n\n\nYou’ll go home with a beautiful Kokedama ready to hang or display at home and treasure for years to come.
