Dates: All workshop dates are on a Tuesday evening including 6th & 20th September, 4th & 18th October, 1st & 15th November 2022

Time: 6.30pm- 8.30pm

What’s included: All materials, expert tuition, tool kit, clay to take home.

Cost: £165 for 6 sessions equivalent to £27.50/session

Deposit option: Pay £82.50 to secure place and balance of £82.50 payable 2 weeks prior to 1st workshop.

Class duration: 2 hours/session. A total of 12 hours approx over 6 sessions, twice a month.

Course details

Join tutor Mat Hughes on a 6 session ceramics course where you will master all three hand building techniques. Together you’ll explore key aspects of form, function, and surface design with the opportunity to work using different types of clay and a range of glazes. You’ll gain a deep understanding into the wonderful medium of clay and be shown how to finesse like a professional potter.  This class is perfect for beginners or people with a basic understanding of clay looking to develop their skills further.

This course comes with your own set of tools and clay to take home to practice your skills in-between sessions.

The classes are kept to a maximum of 8 people per class to guarantee a relaxing and rewarding experience. There will be plenty of demonstrations and expert advice to provide you with a strong foundation for future learning.
