After the workshop you will be sent by e-mail the full comprehensive workshop notes with formula sheets covering each aspect covered during the workshop including a comprehensive troubleshooting guide as well as access to a private Chandler support group.

If you want to get serious about candle making, this is the perfect workshop for you. Suitable for all ability levels and no experience required at all.
A 45 minute lunch break will be given and light refreshments provided throughout the day.

General information for those attendingorkshops/creative courses at The Barn:-
What is the full venue address?
The Barn, Pye Rd, Heswall, CH60 0DB
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the venue?
On street parking is limited to the front of the shop with a disability badge or after 6pm. However, the rear car park is often available evenings after 6pm for use by workshop attendees. It cannot however be used during daytime hours. Otherwise May Road car park is accessible within a short walk (1-2 minutes!) of The Barn. This is a meter operated system.
Public transport links are nearby with the main bus depot being another very short 1-2 minute walk to The Barn. The venue is easily accessible on foot from Heswall Centre and is located on the same street as The Johnny Pye pub and around the corner from the main PO/Sass hairdressers/Iceland.
How accessible is the venue?
The workshop space is located on the upper floor and accessed via approximately 10 wooden steps. Access can be gained via the front or rear. There are toilet provisions on the ground floor. We would advise wheelchair users or those with limited mobility to contact The Barn to ensure a car park space is reserved at the rear if possible although there are on street parking options for disabled Blue Badge users at the front of the building.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Feel free to get in touch via email to email@example.com or to the course tutor direct, if details have been provided.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you find that you cannot attend then you are welcome to pass your place on to someone who may find it useful. Please let The Barn and /or the organiser know the name of the substitute if you need to do this.
Alternatively, tickets can be transferred to a future workshop, delivered by the same tutor, if an e-mail request is made to firstname.lastname@example.org & is sent with at least 14 clear days notice prior to the event itself. Within this period, unfortunately the ticket is not transferable to a future date as tutors will be unlikely to find a substitute for your place and workshop materials will have been purchased in readiness.
Do I have to bring my e-mail confirmation to the event?
A register will be taken at the workshop so it isn’t necessary to print your ticket. In fact, we’d prefer you didn’t to save the environment!
What is the refund/cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be offered in the event of the class being cancelled by the tutor. In this scenario, we will give as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates if appropriate. All workshops do have a minimum requirement of ticket sales for it to proceed so there is a possibility of it being cancelled if these are not met. However, we will aim to contact you with at least 3-5 days notice if this is the case.
If for any reason you find you are unable to attend, then please get in touch and a refund (less any non refundable deposit) can be offered up to 30 days before the workshop. Outside of this 30 day period and/or if no deposit option is specified, we are unable to offer a cash refund.
If the workshop is postponed due to matters outside of both yours and our control eg Covid outbreak, government enforced restrictions, we will hold your workshop in lieu to a later date when it is safe to attend.
What can or should I bring into the event?
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing to most workshops. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, particularly if your course runs over lunch or you have special dietary requirements. Please inform the venue should you have a nut allergy 7 days prior to attending the workshop.
Course tutors will provide all necessary tools, equipment & materials unless specified. Additional safety measures will be put in place due to Covid-19 to ensure your safety.
